Introduction
My approach is designed to help people with ADHD and autism clearly identify what a rich and meaningful life would look like for them, and confidently set about achieving it. Whether you’re struggling with difficulties at work, anxiety, avoidance and procrastination, feelings of shame or low self-worth, overload, or burnout, I offer a non-judgemental, empathetic and supportive environment coupled with the guidance and tools you need to flourish.
While I’ve undertaken extensive specialist training in autism and ADHD I don’t subscribe to a single coaching framework – what works for one person won’t necessarily work for another. The most important aspect of each session is a focus on you as an individual: perhaps thriving in some areas while struggling in others, but always fundamentally valuable and worth listening to.
I’m not here to impose rigid structures or “fix” you. Instead, my role is to provide expert guidance, honest feedback, and supportive accountability as we explore what kind of life you want to build, what’s currently holding you back, and how to move forward in a way that works for you.
“Ben is always calm, understanding and able to settle me, whatever I might be feeling. Through our work together I am more confident with strategies dealing with anxiety, approach to work and organisation, and being able to recognise my emotions and feelings.”

Many of the people I work with have experienced negative feedback from others, whether from parents, teachers, friends, co-workers, or partners. When they act in a way that feels natural, they may have been told they’re difficult, inconsiderate, overly sensitive, or “too much”. Over time, we can sometimes build a persona – a mask – to avoid these criticisms. This constant self-monitoring can create tension, anxiety, and exhaustion, often leading to burnout, depression, or isolation.
Sometimes clients have experienced – or are experiencing – some substantial difficulties in their lives. I have experience of helping to navigate substance addiction, divorce and separation, complex trauma and depression. Whatever you choose to discuss in our sessions, you can be assured that I will listen empathetically and supportively.
One of the most important aspects of my approach to coaching is providing a space free from judgement. I won’t shame you for struggling or criticise how you think or feel. If you’ve ever felt like a failure, a fraud, or a problem, I can assure you – I’ve been there too. We all make mistakes, and we all have the capacity to grow. My clients often tell me that this feeling of genuine acceptance and understanding, even for just an hour a week, has helped them begin to relax, identify what they want and value, and start making real changes in their lives.
I believe we are all capable of immense and lasting growth. Regardless of diagnosis or past experiences, change is always possible.
“Ben has been a great source of support throughout my university journey and transition into work. His specialist coaching has given me a deeper understanding of myself, particularly how my neurodivergence shapes my thinking, learning, and interactions.”

“I’ve learned a lot about my patterns of thought and behaviour since I started my weekly sessions with Ben. He has also helped me better understand my internal monologue, which is proving to be invaluable in addressing the many stresses of life. It can be difficult to find someone that deeply understands and sympathises with ADHD, so I’m very grateful to Ben for his insight and support.”
